MAHA TOWER // ELECTRIC FOREST 2019 – ROTHBURY, MICHIGAN

During the month of June I’ve collaborated with the builder Matty G and his crew, created for the occasion,  to build the Maha Tower: an observatory of 3 floors with a terrace in the forest of Reincarnation Village. 

Matty G (Matty G Production LLC) and dalabil have designed the big tower for the Electric Forest Festival. One of the permanent art installations, the Maha Tower have been conceived as a strong build for thousand of people, with his three floors made by beams of 12x26cm and his morphosis walls of 240cm.    

Outside the tower is cover by colored boards inspired by the forest’s colors in a geometrical pattern.   

With the collaboration of Lata Seth, we have designed and realized the interiors. The main issue to develop was the animal extinction in consequence to the climate change. Pictures, informative panels and plans created the ambience trying to pass the message to the spectators.
